We’d planned to go to Te Papa museum for the day but woke up to a very feverish Isabella. On the way to the pharmacy she began vomiting and we’ve spent the rest of the day trying to get her temperature down. On the bright side it is far easier to deal with in an English speaking country and finding a doctor will be very easy.
Drove through the Hutt Valley on the way to dinner at Jax’s house and it is divine! Suddenly we LOVE Wellington and don’t really want to go back to Auckland.

Wellington is very nice, but miserable in the winter. They don't call it the windy city for nothing - and combine that with lots of rain and it is not a fun situation at all. Lived there for 3 years.
